The Province of Canada or more simply the Canada-Plain was a British Colonie located in North America and created by the fusion of both Canada in a province. In June 1840 the British Parliament adopted The Act off Union, 1840, '' An Act to reunite the Provinces off Upper and Lower Canada, and for the Government off Canada ''. With the proclamation of February 10th 1841, old the Low-Canada became the Canada-Is and the High-Canada became the Canada-West, both in only one political union under the administration of a General governor. The Province of Canada ceased existing at the time of the Confédération (1867), whereas it joined the colonies of the New Brunswick and the Nova Scotia to form the Power of the Canada ( Dominion off Canada ). The Acte of British North America specified that the new Canadian provinces of the Ontario and the Quebec would take again the old borders of Low-Canada and High-Canada.
