Province of Burgos

Burgos is a province located in the north of the Spain at the North-East of the autonomous community of Castille-and-León. It is bordered by the provinces of Palencia, Cantabrie, Biscay, Álava, Rioja, Segovia, Soria, and of Valladolid.

The capital of the province is Burgos

The province has a surface of 14.300 km ² and a population of 352  273  inhabitants (in 2002) of which the half lives in the capital. The only important cities apart from Burgos are Miranda de Ebro and Aranda de Duero.

In full center of the province, with a few kilometers in the north of Burgos, the native village of Cid is.
