The province of Brescia is a administrative subdivision Italy, located in the area Lombardy.

Geography

The province of Brescia, with a surface of 4.784 km ², is extended from the provinces of Lombardy.

It extends towards the alpine mountains and stops in the east towards the Lake Garda and in the west with the Lac of Iseo.

Its Chef-lieu is the town of Brescia.

It is subdivided in 206 common S. Voir: Common of the province of Brescia.

The province is managed by a provincial council ( Consiglio della Provincia ) and, having a more executive role, a provincial junta ( Giunta della Provincia ), of which the president, Alberto Cavalli, carries the title of President of the province of Brescia ( President della Provincia di Brescia ), and whose role is a little comparable with that of a president of general advice in France.
