Province of Arezzo
the province of Arezzo is located in area Toscane in Italy.
Its chief town is Arezzo and, of a surface of approximately 3.230 km ², it is populated of a little more than 323.000 inhabitants.
Geography
This province bordering on the Ombrie (Province of Perugia), of the Emilie-Romagna (Province of Forlì-Césène), of the Steps (Province of Pesaro and Urbino), touches also those of His and Florence.It is crossed by the Arno and the the Tiber and shelters also the soil of the Chianti. A long time ballotée between Florence and the States of the Church, it was attached to the Grand-duché of Tuscany, then with the Royaume of Italy in 1860.
Four valleys subdivide it: the higher Valdarno, the Casentino, the Valtiberina and the Valley di Chiana arétin.
