Province of Ángel Sandoval
The province of Ángel Sandoval is a province of the Département of Santa Cruz in Bolivia. It is located at the east of the department in the zone called Bolivian Pantanal, which makes border with the Brésil. Its population was only of 14 362 inhabitants in 2001, which does one of the least populated zones of them country. Its surface is of 37 442 km ² about equivalent to that of the Netherlands.
Its capital is the small town of San Matías.
It is in the province of Ángel Sandoval that the Lagune Mandioré is located.
