Protocols of Sevres
The protocols of Sevres (sometimes named protocol of Sevres or agreements of Sevres ) are a secret agreement in seven points consigning in writing a tripartite agreement between Israel, the France and the Great Britain in reaction to the nationalization of the Suez Canal by the Egyptian leader Nasser.
The talks were held from October 21st to 24th 1956 in a villa isolated with Sevres in the south-western suburbs from Paris. This secret conference began on October 21st between the Israeli delegation, represented by David Ben Gourion, Shimon Peres and Moshe Dayan and the French Guy Mollet, President of the Council, Christian Pineau, Foreign Minister, Maurice Bourges-Maunoury, Minister for Defense, and Maurice Challe, Chief of staff of the armies.
The British diplomats with Selwyn Lord, Patrick Dean and Logan did not take share with the agreements which the following day 22.
