Protectorate of Aden

The Protectorate of Aden (Arab: rear RTL حمايةعدنʿAdan), approximately: 285000  km, was a British protectorate in southernmost Arabia (current Southern part of the Yemen) in first half of the 20th century. It was partly integrated in the Fédération of the Arab emirates of the South in 1959, then, in 1962, in the Fédération of Arabia of the South, which the State of Aden joined, the remainder of the protectorates, mainly located in the oriental party, component from now on the Protectorat of Arabia of the South. The whole of these territories were amalgamated in 1967 to form the Popular republic of Yemen (or Yemen of the south), integrated in 1990 in the republic of Yemen.
