Prospekt Vernadskogo (subway of Moscow)
Prospekt Vernadskogo (in Russian, Проспе́ктВерна́дского ) is the name of a station of subway of the Ligne Sokolnitcheskaïa with Moscow. This one is located at the intersection of the Vernadskogo Avenue and the Street Oudaltsova. Built in 1963, it conforms to the traditional design with the pillars at triangular base, which was used for almost all the stations of the subway of Moscow in the Années 1960. The pillars of the station are covered with Marbre gold coin of the the Ural and its walls are striated with blue and yellow squares. The hall of the north-eastern end of the central Plate-forme contains a bust of that whose station bears the name, Vladimir Vernadski, founder of the Géochimie. The architects were Ivan Taranov and Nadejda Bykova.
