In the abrahamic Religions, a Prophétie consists of words or writings divinement inspired that a person receives by Révélation.
For the Christians, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy (Apocalypse 19:10). A prophecy can have milked with the past, the present or in the future. When a person prophesies, she says or written what God wants that she knows, for his own good or for many others. Prophecy is not the exclusive prerogative of the prophets. A person can receive a prophecy or a revelation for her personal life (see personal Révélation).
