Program Man and Biosphere
The Program on the man and the biosphere (or Program MAB ; Man and Biosphere Programs or MAB Programme in English) is a project of the UNESCO, which has the aim of associating, in a unified approach, the concerns of protection of the Nature and those of development of the populations and local economies. It was initiated in 1968, and was created officially in 1971.
This program is expressed in each country through national committees.
