Progetto Sardegna

Progetto Sardegna (in Italian, Sardinia Project) is a political movement of center-left, directed by Renato Soru, the president of the autonomous region of Sardinia. He is combined with the parties of Olivier and of the Union for the local elections and introduces candidates only in Sardinia. It has nine (out of 85) regional advisers at the District council of Sardinia (of which the president of area). Its results with the provincial elections of the May 8th and 9th 2005 were definitely more modest (8 provincial advisers elected officials with the first turn in six provinces, with scores varying between 3,4% and 7,4% and only one candidate with the presidency in ballotage favorable which was elected, to the second turn, president of the Province of Olbia-Tempio (Pietrina Murrighile); no the list presented in the Province of Oristano).
