The progestagenes of synthesis are particular synthetic Hormone S which are often used in the production of contraceptive pills .

Classification

The progestagenes of synthesis are classified according to their structure in progestagenes C19 and C21.

Progestagènes C19

The progestagenes of C19 synthesis are derived from the Testostérone. They include/understand the Noréthistérone, the Lévonorgestrel, the Lynestrénol, the Désogestrel, the Norgestimate, the Gestodène and the Tibolone.

Progestagènes C21

The progestagenes of C21 synthesis are derived from the Progestérone. They include/understand the acetate of cyprotérone, the Dydrogestérone, the acetate of médroxyprogestérone, the acetate of chlormadinone, the Mégestrol and the Promégestone. The dydrogestérone is that which approaches more among all of the structure of progesterone. Among those, it is the dydrogestérone which is structurally most similar to progesterone.
