Professional License
The professional license is a national diploma of Higher education French. It is a license particular control by.
This diploma prepares in Université (IUT or UFR) after a national diploma sanctioning two years of higher education (DEUG, HAD or BTS) or of a title or diploma approved on level III by the State. It was created in November 1999 and experienced a strong development of its offer since in September 2006, 1438 trainings in professional license were proposed.
The formation lasts one year and can be followed into initial or continues (alternation, training, etc).
It aims professional insertion with 12 at 16 weeks of training course, as well as missions professionnalisantes , called tutorés projects .
Although its finality is immediate professional insertion, as a diploma of level II, it can allow certain students the inscription in some masters professional or schools.
The rank of laid off is conferred to the holders of a diploma of professional license. They are gathered in 8 professional sectors and 46 national denominations concerned with the primary sectors, secondary and tertiary sector.
