Procruste
-
Note: this article treats insect coleopter named procruste, for the character of the Greek Mythologie, to see Procuste.
The procruste is a Insecte Coléoptère, which one can find in all the Europe. It is a predator which nourishes other ripe coleopters, caterpillars, slugs, snails and fruits. He lives under stones or the sheets in the wet forests. When it is disturbed, it releases by the anus a substance with the stench (butyric acid), which compensates for the absence of wings and time gives him to escape.
