Procrastination (Disc-world)
Procrastination ( Thief off Time ) is the 26e volume of the series Annals of the Disc-world, written by the novelist English Terry Pratchett. Originally appeared in 2001, it was published in France in September 2005 in the editor Atalante, and is translated by Patrick Couton.
Synopsis
In a remote valley, close to the hub of the disc world, monks of the history (whose Lou Tsé and its Lobsang apprentice) supervise the course of time and control it if need be. Clock making main Jeremy of Ankh-Morpork, genius of time is thorough to build a clock. It is so perfect that it will be able to block time. Will the Controllers, enemies of mankind succeed in imposing Apocralypse? Derechef, 5 riders of Apocralypse whose Kaos, the slag, taken along by Death will meet again and shoulder Lobsang which appears the child of Time and Lou Tsé to save mankind. They are helped by the grand-daughter of Death, Suzanne.
