Process of Blaesheim

The “ process of Blaesheim ” was set up January 31st, 2001 at Blaesheim. It envisages a close and regular dialog thanks to meetings which take place every two months between the President of the Republic and French the Prime Minister, the German Chancelier and the two Foreign Ministers. they come in complement from the two Franco-German tops. With the difference of those, recontres rising from the process of Blaesheim d" éroulent in small committee without the heads of government and the Foreign Ministers not being accompanied by collaborator.

Between two meetings, the Foreign Ministers find themselves more often accompanied by some members of their cabinet. For quite precise subjects, relating to particularly another ministry, the minister in question can take part in these recontres. For example, the two Ministers for Agriculture joined a meeting on March 13rd, 2001 to discuss of the common Agricultural policy (CAP).
