Pro Evolution Soccer 2008

Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is a Video game of football developed and published by Konami. The play left on Thursday, October 25 2007 on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Windows, Nintendo DS and PlayStation Portable. It is also envisaged on Wii with the beginning of the year 2008.

The play belongs to the series Pro Evolution Soccer.

Gameplay

Main developments revealed concern:
  • a new system of Artificial intelligence named “Teamvision”.
  • the possibility of positioning its wall and of parameterizing the number of players which composes it.

  • Possibility of inserting its face on a player thanks to a camera.
  • the play Wii will profit from a system of completely different play, using especially the pointer of the WiiMote for various actions (short or long master keys, displacement of a fellow-member…) as well as the Nunchuk to move the principal player and to draw (by making a more or less abrupt gesture according to the desired power). It is connected more with a " RTS footballistique" that a traditional PES but promises new horizons in terms of strategy.

  • Of new gestures like the " Drogba" taking again the known pretense of the player (carried out during Chelsea FC-Barcelona FC in League of the Champions which brought a goal on the action) and of new pretenses of body.

History of the development

The time of development will have been 18 months for the version PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows. Several development teams worked on the versions “Next Gen” and the allocated budget is in addition definitely higher than the previous years.
