Prizren , (220 000 inhabitants) is a city of the Kosovo in the Balkans, built with the feet of the mountain Šar, which offers a dry climate in winter and a pleasant heat in summer to him.

In antiquity the city known under the name of Theranda and was inhabited by the Dardans.

June 10th, 1878 with Prizren takes place the meeting (the League of Prizren) of the 300 representatives of the Albanian territories as well as representatives of Bosnia and Sanxhak (in Bosnian: Sandjak).
