Moldu place in the saga Harry Potter written by J.K. Rowling

The author makes of it for the first time mention in the volume 1, in the chapter 1
It is with number 4, Privet Drive Little Whinging, Surrey which the Dursley live, a family of Moldu S perfectly normal, thank you for them. This family, made up of Vernon and Petunia Dursley, of their son Dudley, is being the only alive family of Harry Potter in 1981. It is in this house that Harry Potter, nephew of Dursley, saw a true martyrdom since its arrival, at the age of 1 year until the moment when it integrates the extraordinary school of sorcery Poudlard, at 11 years. It turns over each year to the 4 Privet Drive during the summer holidays.

Little Whinging is located in Surrey, which is in the south-western south/of London. The exact localization is in the north-western area of the county, in the north of the the Thames. The streets in the vicinity of Privet Drive name Magnolia Road, Magnolia Crescent, and Wisteria Walk.

The house is broad and square. It has a small low wall of garden on the front, a garden with the back with solid masses of flowers and a greenhouse, like several chimneys, including one in the kitchen. The house is probably a construction dating from the Thirties and belonged to an allotment made up of a hundred of identical houses.

At the ground floor the hall with a door equipped with a slit acting is as letter-box, the kitchen, like all the house, is perfectly clean. It is furnished with a square table, and, in addition to the usual equipment in a kitchen, it is equipped with a television so that Dudley does not have to leave it eyes while going to seek food. The living room comprises a condemned chimney, replaced by an electric fire. A room of bain.
To go up on the single floor, there is a staircase and under this staircase, a wall cupboard which will act as room with Harry until the eleven years age. On the floor, there are four rooms:

the room of Vernon and Pétunia
the guest room (reserved for the Aunt Marge)
the principal room of Dudley
Second room of Dudley, become room of Harry in 1991.

In the garden there are a hedge, a bench, and floors of flowers.

Privet Drive, is enlightened the night by twelve standard lamps near number 4.
