Princess Sapphire
Princesse Sapphire (リボンの騎士 Ribon No kishi ) is Manga in three volumes of Osamu Tezuka, which continued of 1954 to 1968. He is regarded as the Manga founder of the kind Shōjo, intended for the girls. The manga also introduces the topics of the Androgynie and the Travestissement.
History
With her birth, a young princess sees herself allotting by error two hearts, that of a man and that of a woman. His/her parents the King and the Queen are obliged to make it pass for a boy so that it can inherit the throne. On the other hand, the inexperienced angel which gave him two hearts must take again the male heart to him so that all returns in the order…

- Princess Sapphire: raised like a boy, it meets a prince to which it cannot reveal its identity nor its feelings.
- Tink: the awkward and facetious angel.
- the large-duke Duralumin: wishing to put his son on the throne, he would like to know the secrecy of prince Saphir.

Continuation
The series continues with the Sapphire Children . The Princess Sapphire and prince Frantz have twins, Prince Daisy and the Violetta Princess.
Adaptation in Animates
The manga was adapted in the form of animated Série in 1967.
