Primula
The Primevères are a kind of herbaceous plants of the family of the Primulacées.
This kind to which one attaches Cortusa now, Dionysia and Dodecatheon essentially include/understand several hundreds of species originating in the moderate zones of the northern hemisphere.
The common primula of our gardens is one of the first flowers of spring ( firstly vere means at the beginning of spring in Latin). It is a hardy perennial, often cultivated into annual. It flowers from February to May, is rustic and has a semi-persistent foliage.
The wild primulas, Primula elatior and Primula veris , whose falling down flowers are presented into ombelle to the top of a long stem, are also known under the name of Coucou S.
