Priming
see also: Etymology of Priming
The priming , in the field of the Astronautics, is the establishment a rate of flow sonic to the collar of a conduit, corresponding to a mode of stable operation usually used. This transition is important in the operation of a conduit or of a engine because - in the general case - the stable mode is easier to maintain once the flow is established.
The term corresponding in English is nozzle priming .
