Primel saint

Holy Primel or Primaël was originating in the Wales. He became hermit in Cornwall at the time of holy Corentin at the 6th century. The two saints were attended, as brought it back in a " Life of the saints of Brittany Armorique" the Brother Large Albert the, Religious one, priest of the Order of the Preaching friars of Morlaix, in 1636:

" In mesme time, vivoit a solitary Prestre saint, named Primael, or Primel, which menoit an extremely holy life in a forest in Cornwall (1). S. Corentin suited it to visit, to receive luy some salutary instructions; S. Primel collected it gracefully, & passerent the two Saints the remainder of the day as saints matter & conferences spiritual, & the following night in prayers and Oraisons. The morning, holy Corentin wished to say the Mass in the Oratory of Primael saint, who, luy having laid out all that required & necessary estoit, was gone from there to querir of water to a fountain rather distant from its Hermitage; Corentin saint having awaited it a long time, left the Vault & vid to come the Saint old man all gently & to small steps as well for his lassitude & as the fountain estoit far from there, as because it lame estoit. Saint Corentin, the indicator all out of breath, took pity of it & begged Nostre Seigneur luy to grant water more close to his Hermitage; then, known as the Mass, during which he reiterated his Speech; God exauça his prayer, because with the mesme place where it put its baston out of ground, after the Mass, it flashes back a source of water, whose two Saints returned graces to God; &, having remained a few days with S. Primael, it was turned over from there in its Hermitage to Plovodiern."

With the calendar of the Breton saints, his festival is celebrated the May 15th.
