Prime Minister (Tunisia)
The Prime Minister is the Head of government of the Tunisia.
Having existed initially under monarchy then abolished in 1957, the station is recreated under the République, under the terms of the Décret 69-400 of the November 7th 1969, then registered with the constitution after the amendments of the December 31st 1969. The Prime Minister is named by the president of the Republic which with the possibility of dislocating it. This station is currently occupied by Mohamed Ghannouchi.
The prerogatives of the Prime Minister are decreased considerably after the modification of the constitution of 1988. Under the terms of article 60 of the constitution (after 1988), the Prime Minister directs and coordinates the action of the government. He is invested within this framework of a double mission:

Programming and coordination of the government action
- Followed and system check as regards public expenditure in conformity with the judicial apparatus and regulatory into force
It is on the proposal of the Prime Minister that the other members of the government are named by the president of the Republic. He must in addition present the Démission government in the event of Motion of censure voted by the House of Commons.
