Primary process

There exist two operating processes of the Psychisme such as there is described by S. Freud: that of the primary processes and that of the secondary processes.

This opposition corresponds to two methods of circulation of the psychic energy: free and dependant.

In the case of the primary processes, energy run out freely with an aim of the fastest possible discharge by the shortest ways. These processes unconscious and are determined by the Pleasure principle. Their goal is the search for satisfaction. The secondary processes conscious and are determined by the principle of reality. One then uses ways diverted to satisfy his desire.
