For " to help to render comprehensible the world of aujourd'hui" , the Trade union of the press of the young people and CPLJ created in 2003 a price intended to reward two works (except fiction), one being addressed more particularly to less than 10 years (Enfant category), the other for oldest (Junior category). This price is given at the time of the Salon of the book and the press youth to Montreuil at the end of November.

• Child category: Let us play with the children of the Mediterranean of Cassandre Hornez, François Lecauchois, illustrated by Denis Clavreul and Bertrand Dubois (Gallimard Jeunesse)
• Junior category: the large book against all violences of Anne-Marie Thomazeau, Brigitte Bègue, Alain Serres, illustrated by Bruno Heitz (Street of the World).

The price of the press of the young people 2003

• Child category: Families of the whole world of Sophie Furlaud, Pierre Verboud and Uwe Ommer (editions of the Threshold youth)
• Junior category: 1.000 information words of Elisabeth Combres and Florence Thinard (Gallimard Youth)
