Price of the booksellers
The Prix of the Booksellers is a Literary prize French given annually to May to a Romance writes in French.
The price exists since 1955. It is organized by the trade-union French federation of the bookstore (FFSL). Approximately five thousand booksellers of France, but also of Swiss, Belgium and the Canada, take part in the vote (by correspondence). The late date of the price makes it possible to exclude from office the prizes winner of the prices delivered at the time of the Literary Re-entry (Goncourt, etc)
The prize winner receives a medal and is assured that the promotion of its book will be made in all the bookstores of France.
