Price of the Best foreign book
The Prix of the Best foreign book is a Literary prize allotted each year to a Romance and a Essai.
Its founder is in 1950 Robert Carlier, with his friend André Bay. The deliberations of the jury take place with the Lipp Brewery then, bringing together the critics and editors Jean Blanzat, Pierre-François Caillé, Paul Flemish, Maurice Nadeau, Armand Pierhal, Raymond Queneau and Guy Tosi.
