Price of criticism (ACBD)
The Grand Prix of Criticism is decreed by the Association of the critics and the journalists of cartoon (ACBD) for the best album of cartoon published in the year in French-speaking territory. It was called Prix Bloody Mary between 1984 and 2003 and was given at the time of the Festival of Angouleme. In 2004, it was isolated festival and changed name for the current Grand Prix of Criticism. Rewarding at the beginning mainly for the books resulting from the Franco-Belgian Cartoon, it finishes, starting from 2000 by opening at other horizons, in particular that of the Comic S. the five albums finalists are announced each year within the framework of the Festival of Blois in November.
