Price of Paris
The Prix of Paris is a horse-race of harnessed trot being held in February on the Hippodrome of Vincennes.
It is an international race of Group I reserved for the horses from 4 to 10 years, hongres excluded, having gained at least: 153000 €. The winners of the Price of America and the Prix of France must return 25 meters. If a horse made doubled, it must return 50 meters.
Created in 1965, it is run since 1998 on the distance from: 4125 meters large track, volté departure. The allowance 2007 is of: 350000 €.
In the beginning, the distance was of: 3150 meters. It sometimes was lengthened a little or shortened a little according to the years, but it is in 1994 that it knows a serious change with the passage to: 4150 meters. Since, it always oscillates in the neighborhoods of: 4125 -: 4150 meters.
