Price of Astarté
The Prix of Astarté is a horse-race of dish being held at the end of July - at the beginning of August on the Hippodrome of Deauville.
It is a race of Groupe I (since 2004) reserved for the fillies 3 years and more. It is run on the 1.600 meters of the straight line of the hippodrome.
The first edition goes back to 1929 and the test bears the name of Astarté, an Egyptian god. The edition 2007 is equipped with an allowance of 250.000 €.
