Price Carlyle S. Beals
The Prix Carlyle S. Beals is given by the Canadian Société of astronomy since 1981 in homage to work pioneers of late C.S. Beals. Of a value of 1500$, it is decreed with a Canadian Astronome or working with the Canada, being distinguished by a remarkable realization: it underlines a significant opening or comes to crown the whole of a career of innovating research.
Since 1988, the prize winner is invited to pronounce a conference at the time of the annual convention of the CASCA and whose costs, for this occasion, are entirely defrayed by the Company. One currently plans to make of them a biennial price, allotted to the even years.
