Price Bertolt Brecht

The Prix Bertolt Brecht is a Literary prize allotted every three years since 1995 by the town of Augsburg, birthplace of Bertolt Brecht. In 2006, because of the 50ème birthday of died of Brecht, the attibution of the price was advanced one year. It is about one of the literary prizes best equipped with Germany (15 000 euros).

The prize is awarded to personalities which " was distinguished in their literary creation by a critic from the world contemporain" .
