Price Andre Norton

The price Andre Norton ( Andre Norton Award ) is decreed, each year, with the work of Science-fiction for young adults considered to be most innovative by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers off America. It is limited to American works .

The first handing-over of price took place in 2006.

This price is named thus in honor of Andre Norton, author of more than 100 Romance S of science fiction and died in 2005. The idea of this price was presented to him before its death and it adhered to it, proposing even a list of titles to be taken into account for the first years.
