Pretenses (Quebec: Alter ego , original title: Dead Ringers ) is a Canadian film of David Cronenberg left in 1988.

Synopsis

Two famous gynecologists are " vrais" twins. They divide all, even the women. When Claire, an young woman consults Beverly, one of the twins, this one falls in love with it and refuses " partager". It is the beginning of a descent towards the madness.
