Press television

In France, the press of television represents the most important diffusion of the French Presse, adding up more than 53 million readers per week (APPM 2006) and nearly 827 million specimens sold per annum (OJD 2006).

This category is composed of thirteen Magazine S: nine Weekly S, two supplements of daily newspapers and two Quinzomadaire S ( Tele 2 weeks , TV Large chains .

Classification of the sales

According to OJD, the classification of the sales (paid diffusion France), in 2006, for the press of television was established as follows:

1. TV Magazine (4 535.331 specimens on average per number) *;

2. Tele Z (1 741.733 specimens);

3. TV Hebdo (1 725.693 specimens) *;

4. Tele 7 Days (1 618.403 specimens);

5. Tele Leisures (1 305.559 specimens);

6. Tele Star (1 235.264 specimens);

7. Tele 2 weeks (1 202.165 specimens);

8. TV Large chains (1 155.802 specimens);

9. Tele Pocket (680 766 specimens);

10. Satellite Télécâble Hebdo (651 084 specimens);

11. Télérama (641 557 specimens);

12. Visu (69 651 specimens);

13. Tele TNT Programs (45 136 specimens).

to be noted:

  • the two titles TV Magazine and TV Hebdo are not sold in kiosks but are been useful free like supplement with various newspapers of the daily press.
  • Visu is a magazine distributed to the Meeting.
  • Lastly, there exist other paying titles of press of television, like Télé Magazine (382 892 specimens) or TVEnvie , but those are not distributed in kiosk.
