Premetta
The premetta is a Cépage tank black.
The type of vine is cultivated in Vallée of Aoste in the communes of Avise, Saint Nicolas's Day, Arvier, Introd, Villeneuve, Aymavilles, Saint-Pierre, the Saar, Jovençan, Gressan, Aosta and Chambave at an altitude going up to 800 Mr.
The premetta belongs to a family of typical type of vines of the alpine areas of the Valais and the Valley of Aoste. The other type of vines are the Bonda, the Completer, the Cornalin of Aoste (or red Humagne), the Cornalin of Were worth, the Crovassa, the Durize, the Eyholzer, the fumin, the Goron de Bovernier, the Himbertscha, the white Humagne, the Lafnetscha, the Mayolet, the Ner d' Ala, the Petite arvine, the Small-red, the Planscher, the white Prié, the Rèze, the roussin, the Roussin de Morgex, the Vien Naked and the Vuillermin.
Vegetative cycle
The values were recorded between 1994 and 1998 in the Moncenis hamlet at an altitude of 750 m NR in southern exposure:
- Débourrement: April 13rd
- Flowering: June 12th
- Ripening: August 22nd
- Maturation: October 15th
