Prefecture of the Hauts-de-Seine
The prefecture of the Hauts-de-Seine is a building located at Nanterre, in the suburbs of Paris, in France.
Bâtiement precisely shelters the buildings of the Préfecture of the department of the Hauts-de-Seine and until in 1985 the General advice of the Hauts-de-Seine. The building is composed of a square building in particular containing the old room of the council, surmounted of a 113 height m tower, containing the offices. The shape of the room then is directly inspired by a sculpture of Marta Pan, woman of the architect of the building, André Wogenscky. This building built by this architect disciple of the Corbusier, is assistant between 1969 and 1974 another building sheltering the Law courts built by the same architect.
