Prefecture of Okayama

Okayama (岡山県, okayamaken ) is a prefecture Japan located at the west of the area of Chūgoku, on the island of Honshū.

It is surrounded of the prefectures of Hyogo, Tottori, Hiroshima and Kagawa.

The historical city Kurashiki is there.

A garden of Japanese traditional style is in the center of the town of Okayama. This garden, named Koraku (後楽園), is regarded as one of the three more beautiful Japanese gardens.
