Precede departure

A premium starting , or " allowance of départ" , is a premium poured with an employee or a leader at the time of his departure of a company, in particular for its retirement.

The severance pays of the leaders are also called " Golden delicious parachute" (Parachute out of gold). According to a study published in December 2006 by Proxinvest, 38 top-ranking executives touched alone 107 million euros of starting premiums since the beginning of the year 2005.

Jean-François Roverato, chairman of the group Eiffage, obtained nearly 195.000 bonus shares at the time of its departure of the operational direction.
