Synopsis

Belfort, in the East of France, its streets with the closed trade, its Alstom factory, formerly economic lung of the area and floret of French industry. Here the theater and background of the history told by this film. Corinne and Patrick are two inhabitants of this city who entrust to the realizer what them precariousness implies like intimate pains and revolts contained. Corinne, which does not have any more an apartment, is baited to believe that the future will smile to him, that it will be able to find a work stable and to finally take again taste with the life. Patrick, as for him, isolates himself more and more and concentrates on his trade of auxiliary of life with what it offers to him of human richness. To forget that sometimes he does not eat with his hunger, he “makes himself useful for the others” like he says. Aline, her best friend, tries in spite of her own difficulties of convincing it to try her chance elsewhere. In the middle of the noise of the city and permanent sounds of the radio which predicts difficult days to them they speak about courage but also about anger in front of their absence with a future.
