The Preah KB (the holy bull ) is the first Khmer temple built in the area of Angkor to the Kampuchea, on the site of the capital of Indravarman I (Hariharālaya - currently Roluos). It was devoted into 880. This temple shivaïte, as attests of them the representations of the bull Nandin, the destrier of Śiva, has a rectangular plan with six towers built out of bricks, formerly covered of decorated coating.
Only the lintels, hones some by architectural need, comprises still visible low-reliefs. The few reported sculptures are posterior.
The turns are dedicated to the preceding Khmer kings, of which the central sanctuary with Jayavarman II (Parameśvara) the founder of the kingdom, and with their queens, all and all divinized.
Its construction will be followed of that of the Bakong, the first temple-mountain.
