Prater (Berlin)

The Prater , located on the Kastanienallee, in the old district of Prenzlauerberg is vast a Biergarten composed of a restaurant of style Viennese, of a space open to the site of an old swimming pool and a room of spectacle-club.

Prater of Volksbühne

Since 1992 the Volksbühne also has another place of representation rich in history. This scene is opened with the theatrical performances. One can in particular see there occurring at the sides of Rene Pollesch of the troops like Gob Squad, Forced Entertainment and She She Pop or more recently Constanza Macras with his company Dorky Park.

Joined in Prater, the " Bastard" is a club whose programming is included in that of Volksbühne.
