Praia C Matadeiro
Praia C Matadeiro is a Plage and a locality of the municipality of Florianópolis, with the Brésil. It is located at the south-east of the island of Santa Catarina, between two rock points, in the prolongation of the praia da Armação.
Just like the latter, it knew a strong activity in the past, dependant on hunting for the Baleine. The praia C Matadeiro was the place of the demolition and the cutting of the animals, of which the pieces was then brought to the praia da Armação to extract the Huile from it. There does not remain any vestige of this activity.
The beach is attended little by the tourists and strictly speaking does not have a tourist infrastructure.
