Prédator (Predacon in the VO) is the name given to a faction of the universe Transformers. Prédators are generally presented like the descendants of the Decepticans and the enemies of the Maximals. Although many resemblances exist between Decepticans and Prédators, there are also many differences, like the conditions of their ideals: Prédators agree to sign a peace with the maximals, at least for a time, while Decepticans would have chooses to carry out a war without end. The symbol of the prédators is a head of insect violet, and their code of activation is: " Terrorize! ".

Animutants

The prédators appear for the first time in Animutants, or they signed peace with the maximals. But a group of prédators renegade, directed by mégalomaniaque the Mégatron (named according to Mégatron original), eager to get rid of the maximals, stole a arctefact named the disc of gold and undertaken, on board the vessel " Darkside" , a voyage in time to go on Earth to prehistory, and to change the course of the history so that the Autobots are demolishes by the Decepticans.
