Power station with gas
The power stations with gas are powerplants used for the electrical production. They constitute a big part of the electrical production in the gas producer countries.
The recent progress made in the realization of the turbines of average power makes it possible advantageously to use the power stations with gas to carry out cogeneration (production of heat coupled to an electrical production). Gas reserves naturalness are without common measurement with the crude oil reserves, because they are exploited only since the end of the year 1960. Whereas one envisages the use of oil and his derivatives until approximately 2050, at the rate/rhythm of the current increase in consumption, the gas shortage will be effective into 2150 in the actual position of the knowledge of the proven reserves. To note that the conflict between the UKRAINE and RUSSIA in connection with gas comes from what the U.S.S.R. marketed its gas at preferential prices with the country belonging to the Soviet mobility… and which the elections of 2005 involved the UKRAINE towards other policy options. However, like the crude oil reserves, gas reserves are badly distributed geographically, and the creation of a " cartel" is to be feared.
