Power Rangers is an American saga of which all the “seasons” are americanized adaptations of Sentai S Japanese, the not dressed up scenes were turned over with Western actors. It is since 2001 the property of the Walt Disney Company.

These characters are popularized by the toys of the mark Bandai.

History

Power Rangers were launched in 1993 by Haïm Saban which wanted to continue to exploit the Japanese productions of which it had been made a speciality. In order to like the American public, it made turn over the episodes with more Western actors.

In 1995, it joins the Fox to produce first film and the series which will result from this. The interests of Saban and Fox are gathered within the company Fox Family Worldwide . Production of the various series perdure.

In 2001 the Walt Disney Company repurchases Fox Family Worldwide and the rights on Power Rangers and their derivative products. Disney lets the production of the series in progress continue and launches its first production alone in 2003 with the Power Rangers: Force cyclone. It delocalizes however the production in New Zealand with a new team and a new director.

Disney diffuses since 2002 the episodes of Power Rangers on the various television channels belonging to him of which ABC Kids, ABC Family, Toon Disney and Jetix. She uses also her important subsidiary of management of consumables to sell even more toys. She makes however go competition and Bandai does not have more the exclusiveness in the toys.

Power Rangers Jungle Fury (the USA: 2008 France: 2009)

The casting of Power Rangers Jungle Fury which should leave if all occurs well in 2009 sees already their three heroes making surface. The names of the characters are:

Theo Martin (To arrange Blue): Theo is 17 years old. It is a conformist who makes very to avoid the problems and hates enfreindre the rules. It is malignant, strong, and gifted for the combat, but is frequently disturbed by the free spirit of Lily. (Think " Carlton" of the Prince of Bel Air)

Lily " Chill" Chillman (To arrange Yellow): Lily is 18 years old. Before integrating Feeds it Zhuq Kung Fu Academy, Lily was the captain of the pompom-girl of his college. It gained the gold medal by incorporating the style of the street in its dances. Although it has the standard profile of the pompom-girl, it is solid and does not have to be underestimated. (Think " Buffy" meets " Girls United")

Casey (To arrange Red): Casey is the athletic beautiful child. It has a problem with the authority (Think " Maverick" in Top Gun). He likes to take risks, enthusiast for big thrills and a little rebellious. He likes to make the thing with his way. It is also a Master of Resourcefulness; it can all repair with a rubber band and some trombones.

Synopsis: Rangers work with the " Jungle Karmic Pizza". No other information for the moment.

Exits DVD

Currently, the Editions Atlas leave a collection DVD answering in the name of " Power Rangers in DVD". It should be known that in the neighborhoods of January, the Editions Atlas tested in some areas of France this collection. The selected season was the season Mighty Morph' N Power Rangers. 3 Numbers only containing one DVD of 5 episodes left: number 1 with 1.99€, number 2 with 3.99€ and number 3 with 8.99€ but containing 2 DVD of five episodes each one. For the new collection which begins with the season " Super Delta" Police force; , the first 3 numbers will be identical and as of the 4th number, the price will remain fixed (8.99€ by number) with a DVD of 5 episodes per number. The number leave every 15 during the days. The various seasons which will leave this collection, (subject to modification of the Éditions Atlas) will be in the order:
