Power Macintosh 9500
The Power Macintosh 9500 placed all in top of the range of Ordinateur S of office of Apple. It was the first Power Macintosh of second generation, which is equipped with processor PowerPC 604.
The Power Macintosh 9500 took again the same case as the Workgroup Server 9150 but was much more powerful with a processor PowerPC 604 given rhythm initially to 120 or 132 MHz. It was the first Power Macintosh with the format turn to use a chart processor replaceable girl. Contrary to the Power Macintosh of first generation it had ports of extension to format NCV more modern and universal that the slots NuBus or PDS. The Power Macintosh 9500 is the the most expansible Macintosh ever marketed by Apple: it offered 6 fates NCV, 12 sites memory and a bay 5,25" free for a second optical reader.
In October 1995 Apple left a Power Macintosh 9515 which was identical to the 9500/132 but was sold only in Europe and with the Japan. A new given rhythm model with 150 MHz supplemented the range 9500 in April 1996. In August 1996 the Power Macintosh 9500 were updated with two new models equipped with PowerPC 604 E: a given rhythm biprocessor with 180 MHz, and a single processor given rhythm at the speed record of 200 MHz. The presence of two processors on model 180 MHz did not bring significant profit of performance, with share with some rare professional applications which managed the multiprocessing.
The Power Macintosh 9500 was replaced in February 1997 by the Power Macintosh 9600.
