PowerBook 150
The PowerBook 150 is a Laptop of Apple. It replaced the PowerBook 145B and was the last PowerBook of series 100 (the PowerBook 190, in spite of its name, are connected in fact with the PowerBook of series 500). Sold to 1300 $, it composed bottom of the range PowerBook and offered better performances for a low price to its predecessor. It was also lightest of PowerBook series 100 and had a greater autonomy (2 hours approximately 30).
It used a Microprocesseur Motorola 68030 given rhythm with 33 MHz against 25 MHz for its predecessors and had a Random access memory faster (the same one as on the PowerBook Duo) extensible up to 40 Mo. It was also the first PowerBook to use a Hard drive IDE and not SCSI. To lower its price, the PowerBook 150 nevertheless had had to suffer some sacrifices: its screen was of a low quality and its connector industry was very poor. It had indeed port ADB (it is besides only the PowerBook without port ADB), neither of video out, nor of port Ethernet: it was equipped only with one port series and a port SCSI.
