Posture (sport of combat)
A posture , in the Sports of combat, is the way of being positioned, of being held, of being directed, of being protected or keeps some, etc, in the combat. One speaks more usually about guard, attitude or position.

One counts various attitudes of boxing match: keep three-quarter of face, keeps profile, keeps in crouch , low guard, keeps the weight on front leg, keeps the weight on back leg, guard in very isolated supports, etc Quelquefois, the position of the body can indicate the intentions of a combatant with regard to his adversary. E.g.: an attitude of profile can be the sign of a work of Esquive and Riposte of the arm before as well as against.
